Sparkling Lemon-Mint Soda (bottled style)

Iced Cold Brew (bottled style)

Method

Sparkling Lemon-Mint Soda (bottled style)

  1. 1

    Muddle and mix

In a tall mixing glass or bottle, add the fresh mint leaves and the simple syrup. Gently muddle the mint 4–6 times to release aroma without tearing leaves.

  2. 2

Add the fresh lemon juice and 1 ounce of ice to the mixing glass or bottle. Stir briskly to combine flavors and chill the mixture.

  3. 3

Add the sparkling mineral water over the mixture and gently stir once to integrate. Fill the serving bottle or glass with remaining ice as desired (about 12 oz sparkling water total).

  4. 4

Taste and adjust: if you prefer sweeter, add up to 0.25 oz more simple syrup; for brighter lemon, add another 0.25 oz lemon juice.

  5. 5

Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately chilled in a bottle or sealed to-go container.

Iced Cold Brew (bottled style)

  1. 6

Fill the serving bottle or glass with ice (about 1 cup).

  2. 7

Pour 12 oz cold brew coffee over the ice.

  3. 8

Add 0.5 oz vanilla syrup and 2 oz milk or dairy alternative. Stir or gently invert the sealed bottle 6–8 times until evenly mixed and chilled.

  4. 9

Taste and adjust sweetness or milk level to preference (add 0.25–0.5 oz vanilla syrup or up to 1 oz more milk). Seal and serve cold.

Ginger-Honey Tonic (bottled style)

  1. 10

Fill a serving bottle or glass with ice (about 1 cup).

  2. 11

Pour 10 oz ginger beer over the ice.

  3. 12

Add 1 oz cold brewed ginger-honey concentrate and 0.5 oz fresh lime juice. Stir gently to combine without flattening the ginger beer's carbonation.

  4. 13

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim. Serve immediately chilled.
