Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.
Coat the Chicken Wings
Add the chicken wings to the flour mixture and toss until they are evenly coated. Let them sit for about 15 minutes to allow the coating to adhere.
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Chicken Wings
Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the wings and drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Chili Garlic Glaze
In a small saucepan, combine 0.5 cup of sweet chili sauce and 2 minced garlic cloves over medium heat. Stir until heated through and well combined.
Toss the Wings in Glaze
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken wings with the chili garlic glaze until they are well coated.
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top of the wings before serving. Enjoy!
