Preparation Steps
1. Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
2. Cook the Shrimp
Add the Gulf shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink.
3. Add Cajun Pesto
Stir in the Cajun pesto and lemon juice. Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the shrimp to absorb the flavors.
4. Prepare Texas Toast
While the shrimp is cooking, toast the Texas toast in a separate skillet or toaster according to package instructions.
5. Serve
Serve the sautéed Gulf shrimp over the toasted Texas toast and garnish with chopped parsley.
