Muddle the Mint
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh mint leaves with the simple syrup to release the mint's essential oils.
Add Bourbon
Pour in the Seven Three Bywater bourbon and fill the shaker with crushed ice.
Shake it Up
Shake the mixture gently to combine the ingredients.
Strain
Strain the mixture into a glass filled with crushed ice.
Top with Soda
Top off the drink with soda water and give it a gentle stir.
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and serve immediately.
