Method

Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a martini (coupe) glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to chill the glass.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Absolut Pears vodka, 0.5 oz pineapple liqueur, 1 oz pear nectar, 0.5 oz pineapple juice, 0.25 oz amaretto, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup (if you prefer a slightly sweeter drink).

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) until nearly full. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted on the outside.

4

Prepare glass

If you chilled the glass with ice water, empty and dry it. If you used the freezer method, remove the glass from the freezer.

5

Double strain and serve

Double-strain the cocktail (using the shaker's strainer and a fine mesh strainer) into the chilled martini or coupe glass to remove any small ice shards and pulp for a silky texture.

Garnish & Finish

6

Thread a thin pear slice on the rim of the glass or float it gently on the surface of the cocktail. Optionally add a small pineapple wedge or a thin pineapple ring on the rim for visual contrast.

7

Serve immediately. Optional: present with a small cocktail pick or a few drops of pear or pineapple nectar on top for aroma.
