Method
Prepare Dough
Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt. Mix well with a wooden spoon or dough hook.
Gradually add flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Prepare Filling
In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
Set softened butter aside for spreading over the rolled dough later.
Assemble Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a large rectangle (about 16x12 inches) on a floured surface.
Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly from the long edge into a log. Slice into 12 equal rolls and place them into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes, until puffy.
Bake
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the rolls for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
