Ingredients

Wine & Serving

Optional Light Mixer (for a spritz-style variation)

Preparation

Chill & Prepare

1. Chill wine

Place the bottle of Famille Perrin Côtes du Rhône Rosé Nature - 2022 in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours prior to serving so it reaches about 8–10°C (46–50°F). If short on time, submerge the bottle in an ice-water bath for 20–30 minutes.

2. Prepare garnishes

Rinse strawberries, raspberries, mint and rose petals gently under cold water. Hull and halve the strawberries. Pat all ingredients dry with a clean towel. Cut thin lemon wheels or twists.

Glassware & Assembly

3. Select glassware

Choose a clear white-wine glass, a large goblet, or a stemmed wine glass to showcase the rosé's color and aromas. Chill the glasses in the fridge for 10–15 minutes if desired.

4. Add optional ice (if using)

If you prefer a very cold serve—particularly in hot weather—place 2 ice cubes in each glass. Note: use sparingly to avoid diluting the wine's aromas.

5. Place fruit and aromatics

Evenly divide the halved strawberries and raspberries between 4 glasses (about 3 strawberry halves and 1–2 raspberries per glass). Add one edible rose petal and one small mint sprig to each glass, tucking them against the inner wall so they release aroma without submerging completely. Add one lemon wheel or twist to each glass.

6. Pour the wine

Open the chilled bottle and pour the rosé gently into each glass, filling to roughly one-third to halfway (about 125 ml per serving). Pour over the fruit and aromatics so their aromas are released without aggressive agitation.

Optional Spritz Variation

7. Add elderflower & soda (optional)

For a lighter spritz-style serve, after pouring 100–125 ml rosé into each glass, add 7.5 ml (0.25 oz) elderflower liqueur or 7.5 ml elderflower syrup per glass, then top each with about 60–75 ml chilled soda water. Stir gently once with a cocktail spoon to combine.

Finish & Serve

8. Aromatic finish

Gently clap the mint between your palms to release oils and rest the sprig in the glass. Sprinkle any remaining rose petals on top for presentation. Allow guests to inhale the floral-fruit bouquet before sipping.

9. Service note

Serve immediately while chilled. Encourage small nibbles (cheese, prosciutto, olives) to complement the wine's delicate red fruit and floral notes.
