Spice ’94 Mix
To Build & Garnish
Method
Prepare Spice ’94 Mix
- 1
Muddle ginger
If using fresh ginger, place the 1/2 tsp fresh ginger (thin slices or small chunks) in a mixing glass or shaker and gently muddle once or twice to release aroma. Do not pulverize — you want just a light ginger perfume.
- 2
Combine ingredients
Add 2 tbs Seedlip Spice 94, 1 tbs orgeat syrup, and 0.75 oz fresh lime juice to the mixing glass with the muddled ginger. Fill the mixing glass halfway with ice.
- 3
Chill & dilute
Stir the mixture briskly for 15–20 seconds to chill and lightly dilute (or shake briefly for 8–10 seconds if you prefer a slightly frothier texture). Strain the mixture into a chilled highball or Collins glass filled with crushed ice.
Build & Garnish
- 4
Top the strained Spice ’94 mix with 3 oz chilled ginger ale, pouring slowly over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass to preserve effervescence and create a gentle layering.
- 5
Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and a piece of candied ginger skewered on a pick or rested on the ice. Add a mint sprig for aroma if desired.
- 6
Serve with a short stirring straw so the guest can gently integrate any settling flavors. Enjoy chilled.
