Eggs & Protein (choose one)

Optional Garnish / Extras

Method

Eggs & Protein (choose one)

1

Prep eggs

Crack the 2 large eggs into a small bowl. Add the pinch of salt and pinch of pepper. Whisk with a fork until yolks and whites are combined and slightly frothy (about 20–30 seconds).

2

Cook scrambled eggs

Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add 1 tsp butter and let it melt, swirling to coat the pan. Pour in the beaten eggs. Let sit undisturbed for 8–10 seconds until edges begin to set, then gently push the set edges toward the center with a rubber spatula. Continue folding and pushing every 10–15 seconds until eggs are softly set but still moist, about 1.5–2 minutes total. Remove from heat (eggs will finish cooking from residual heat). If using, sprinkle 1 tbsp shredded cheddar and fold gently to melt.

3

Prepare chosen protein - Bacon

If serving bacon: If using precooked bacon, warm 2 strips in a microwave for 15–20 seconds or in a skillet over medium heat for 30–45 seconds per side until hot and slightly crisp. Transfer to a paper towel to drain.

4

Prepare chosen protein - Sausage

If serving a sausage link: If precooked, heat 1 pork sausage link in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, turning until warmed through and lightly browned. If raw, cook thoroughly in skillet 8–10 minutes, turning to brown all sides and ensuring internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

5

Prepare chosen protein - Ham

If serving ham: Warm 1 slice of cooked ham in a skillet over medium heat for 30–60 seconds per side until hot, or microwave for 15–20 seconds.

Sides & Toast

6

Toast 1 slice of bread to desired doneness. Spread 1 tsp butter on the warm toast and cut into halves or fun shapes for a child-friendly presentation.

7

Arrange the scrambled eggs and the chosen warmed protein on a small plate next to the toast.

Drink (included)

8

Pour 4 fl oz of orange juice (or apple juice) into a small cup. If preferred, substitute with 4 fl oz milk. Serve chilled or at room temperature as desired.

Optional Garnish / Extras

9

Serve ketchup on the side for dipping. For kids who like cheese, sprinkle the optional shredded cheddar over the hot eggs so it melts.
