Margarita Mix & Spirits

Method

Glass Preparation

  1. 1

    Rim the glass

Take a rocks or Margarita glass and run a fresh lime wedge around the outer rim. Pour the coarse salt onto a small plate and gently press the wet rim into the salt to coat. Shake off any excess. Set the glass aside.

Mixing the Margarita

  1. 2

    Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup of cubed ice, 2 oz Lunazul Blanco Tequila, 1 oz Triple Sec, and 3 oz Jake’s Coastal Cantina Homemade Margarita Mix.

  2. 3

    Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds, until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty and the drink is well chilled and slightly diluted.

  3. 4

    Strain and serve

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice if desired. Strain the shaken margarita into the glass. If serving on the rocks, pour over fresh ice; for a straight-up serve, strain into the glass without additional ice.

  4. 5

    Garnish

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim or a lime wheel floated on top. Serve immediately.
