Build and shake
Add 2 oz cinnamon whisky, 3 oz apple cider, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.25 oz simple syrup, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice.

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold (this chills and slightly dilutes the mix).

Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Strain the shaken mixture into the glass.
