Crispy Fish & Oysters Ingredients
Method
Crispy Fish & Oysters Preparation Directions
Prepare the Rémoulade
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, chopped dill, chopped chives, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and set aside.
Prepare the Breading
In a shallow dish, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
Bread the Fish and Oysters
Dredge the fish fillets and oysters in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Fry the Fish and Oysters
Carefully add the breaded fish and oysters to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side for the fish and 1-2 minutes for the oysters. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried fish and oysters with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately with the rémoulade, sliced radishes, and garnish with additional chives and dill.
