Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Grouper

Rinse the grouper fillets under cold water and pat dry. Rub both sides of the fillets with olive oil and season with berbere spice, salt, and black pepper.

2

Toast the Fenugreek Seeds

In a small dry skillet over medium heat, toast the fenugreek seeds for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

3

Sauté the Cabbage

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the shredded cabbage and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes tender. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle the toasted fenugreek seeds over the top.

4

Cook the Grouper

In the same skillet, push the cabbage to one side and add the seasoned grouper fillets. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

5

Serve

Plate the sautéed cabbage and top with the cooked grouper fillets. Enjoy your delicious berbere seasoned grouper!
