Method

Prepare Cocktail

1

Chill glass

If desired, chill a highball or Collins glass by filling it with ice and water while you prepare ingredients; discard before pouring.

2

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice (about 3/4 full). Add 2 oz Grey Goose vodka, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup to the shaker.

3

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes cold and slightly frosted.

4

Discard the ice/water from the chilled glass if you chilled it. Fill the glass with fresh ice cubes.

5

Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over the fresh ice.

6

Top with about 2 oz club soda to taste. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine without flattening the soda.

Garnish & Serve

7

Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel on the rim. If using, slap a mint sprig between your palms briefly to release aroma and place it on top of the drink.

8

Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
