Cocktail Base

Method

Cocktail Prep

1

Chill glass

If desired, place a highball glass or rocks glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to chill while you prepare the drink.

2

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 4–6 medium cubes).

3

Add 2 oz CÎROC Vodka, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz simple syrup to the shaker.

4

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and the ingredients are well chilled and diluted.

Assembly & Finish

5

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer (or grab a fresh glass) and fill it with fresh ice to about three-quarters full (approximately 1 cup cubed ice).

6

Strain the contents of the shaker into the prepared glass over the ice using a fine or Hawthorne strainer.

7

Top with 2 oz club soda to add a light effervescence. Gently stir once or twice with a bar spoon to combine.

8

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally squeeze the lime over the drink for extra brightness.

9

Serve immediately.
