Glass and serving (optional)
Method
For one poured Bud (bottle/can)
Chill or choose chilled bottle/can
If the Budweiser is not already chilled, place the bottle or can in a refrigerator for at least 1–2 hours. For faster chilling, submerge in an ice-water mixture for 10–15 minutes.
Prepare glass (optional)
If using a pint glass, ensure it is clean and cold. Rinse briefly with cold water and drain to help keep the beer colder longer.
Open beer
Hold the bottle or can upright. Use a bottle opener to remove the cap or pull the tab on a can. Keep the container level to minimize agitation and excess foam.
For a chilled serving from an ice bucket (optional)
Fill a bucket or large container with crushed ice or ice cubes. Add about 1 cup of cold water to help ice conform around the bottle/can and chill faster.
Submerge the Bud bottles or cans in the ice bucket for 10–20 minutes until well chilled. Remove one and dry before opening.
