Hot Honey Ora King Salmon

Method

Preparation and Cooking Steps

1

Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the Ora King salmon fillets with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Once heated, place the salmon skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes.

2

Add Hot Honey

Flip the salmon fillets and drizzle hot honey over them. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice glaze.

3

Cook the Bacon and Potatoes

In a separate pan, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same pan, add diced potatoes and cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Crumble the bacon and mix with the potatoes.

4

Prepare the Southern Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the southern slaw mix with a dressing of your choice or toss with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.

5

Make the Comeback Sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well and adjust seasoning to taste.

6

Assemble the Dish

On a plate, serve the hot honey salmon alongside the southern slaw, fried pickles, and warm bacon & potato salad. Drizzle with comeback sauce as desired.
