Method
Prep
Chill glass
Place a rocks or coupe glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes or fill with ice water while you prepare the drink so the cocktail stays cold when served.
Mixing
Combine ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 1.5 oz Patrón Silver, 0.75 oz Cointreau, 0.5 oz Tuaca, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.25 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz agave syrup.
Add ice and shake
Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is cold and well-chilled.
Strain
Strain the cocktail through a fine strainer (or the shaker's built-in strainer) into the prepared salt-rimmed glass. Serve over fresh ice if you prefer a rocks presentation, or without ice for a neater coupe-style drink.
Garnish & Serve
Garnish the drink with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Optionally express a lime peel over the drink to release oils, then drop it in. Serve immediately while cold.
