Ingredients

Beer

Optional garnish & serve

Preparation

Chill & prepare glass

1. Chill beer

Ensure the Bud Light has been refrigerated for at least 2 hours prior to serving, or place in ice for 20–30 minutes to quickly chill. Ideal serving temperature is 35–40°F (1.5–4.5°C).

2. Prepare glass (optional)

If you prefer a cold glass, place the pint glass in the freezer for 10–20 minutes or fill it with ice and cold water for 2–3 minutes, then dump out the ice water immediately before pouring.

Pouring

3. Open the bottle or can carefully with a bottle opener or by hand. Hold the glass at a 45° angle and pour the Bud Light slowly down the side of the glass until it is about three-quarters full.

4. Gradually tilt the glass upright as it fills to create a 1/2–1 inch head (foam). This preserves carbonation and aroma without excessive foam overflow.

Garnish & serve

5. If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim and drop it into the beer or simply serve the wedge on the side. Some drinkers prefer Bud Light with a subtle citrus note; this is optional.

6. Serve immediately while cold. If you used ice in the glass, discard any remaining ice before pouring to avoid dilution.
