Strawberry Shake

Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

ABV: 6.5% IBU: 0. Dry, bubbly, & crushable.

In a large pot, combine the apple juice and water. Stir until well mixed.

Add the sugar to the mixture and heat gently over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not boil.

Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the pot from heat and let it cool to room temperature.

Once the mixture is cooled, sprinkle the cider yeast over the surface and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Stir the yeast into the mixture until fully incorporated.

Add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise to the mixture.

Transfer the mixture to a sanitized fermentation vessel and seal it with an airlock.

Allow the cider to ferment at room temperature for 1-2 weeks, or until fermentation activity has slowed down.

Once fermentation is complete, prepare bottles and caps by sanitizing them thoroughly.

Dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the fermented cider. Stir gently to mix.

Carefully siphon the cider into the bottles, leaving about an inch of headspace at the top.

Cap the bottles and store them in a cool, dark place for about 1-2 weeks to carbonate.

After carbonation is complete, chill the bottles in the refrigerator.

Pour the cider into a glass and enjoy your homemade Ash and Elm Cider!
