- 1
Prepare glass
Fill a large wine glass about three-quarters full with ice cubes (roughly 1 cup). This chills the glass and ensures the drink stays cold without becoming overly diluted.
- 2
Add Aperol
Pour 3 oz Aperol over the ice.
- 3
Add Prosecco
Slowly pour 2 oz chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pouring slowly helps preserve the bubbles.
- 4
Top with soda
Add 1 oz chilled club soda (or sparkling water) to the glass to give a light, fizzy finish. Adjust the soda slightly to taste if you prefer a milder or stronger bitterness.
- 5
Gentle stir
Using a bar spoon, give the drink one or two gentle stirs to combine the ingredients without knocking out too many bubbles.
- 6
Garnish and serve
Garnish with 1 fresh orange slice on the rim or floated in the glass. Serve immediately while chilled.
