Cooking Instructions
1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half if they are large.
2. Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the applewood smoked bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and let it drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.
3. Toss Brussels Sprouts
In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, honey, salt, and black pepper until well-coated.
4. Roast the Brussels Sprouts
Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender, stirring halfway through.
5. Add Toppings
Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, remove them from the oven and toss with the crispy bacon, smoked almonds, and crushed red pepper. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper as needed.
6. Serve
Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and enjoy warm.
