Cocktail Preparation
Prepare the Jalapeño Infusion
Start by roasting 2 whole jalapeños and 4 cloves of garlic until charred. Blend them with 1 cup of water and strain the mixture to get the infusion. Let it cool before using.
Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of Wheatley Vodka, 0.5 oz of Aquavit, 1 oz of Sherry Cream, and 0.5 oz of the roasted garlic jalapeño infusion.
Add Sweetness and Shake
Add 0.5 tsp of hot honey to the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Optionally, garnish with a slice of jalapeño or a sprinkle of smoked paprika for an extra kick.
