Preparation

1

Wash and Chop Spinach

Thoroughly wash the fresh spinach leaves under cold water. Drain and remove any tough stems. Chop the leaves roughly and set aside.

2

Prepare Aromatics

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and onion.

Cooking

3

Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

4

Cook Spinach

Add the chopped spinach to the skillet. Stir occasionally and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.

5

Add Creamy Mixture

Reduce heat to low. Stir in the cream cheese and sour cream until fully combined and smooth. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until melted and creamy.

6

Heat Through

Allow the mixture to cook on low heat for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Serving

7

Serve Creamed Spinach

Remove from heat and transfer the creamed spinach to a serving dish. Enjoy warm as a side dish or as part of your favorite meal.
