Cocktail

1

Chill glass

Place a martini glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water while you prepare the cocktail to ensure it is well chilled.

2

Combine ingredients

Add Malibu Mango rum (2 oz), Grand Marnier (1/2 oz), pineapple juice (2 oz), fresh lime juice (1/2 oz), and simple syrup (1/4 oz) into a cocktail shaker.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker feels very cold. This chills and slightly dilutes the drink for balance.

4

Prepare glass

If you chilled the glass with ice water, dump the ice water out now. Optionally, run a lime wedge around the rim and lightly dip in sugar for a sweet rim.

5

Strain and serve

Double-strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass using a Hawthorne strainer and, if available, a fine mesh strainer to remove small ice shards and pulp. This yields a clean, slightly frothy martini.

Garnish & serve

6

Garnish the martini with a lime wheel on the rim and/or a fresh mango slice and a cocktail cherry on a pick. Serve immediately.
