Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the top of the lobster tail shell down the center with kitchen shears, exposing the meat. Gently pull the meat out and lay it on the shell. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Clarify the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes. Skim off the foam from the top and pour the clear butter into a serving dish, discarding the milk solids.

  3. 3

    Cook the Lobster

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Cook the Filet

While the lobster is cooking, season the filet mignon with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the filet for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Garlic to Butter

In the last few minutes of cooking the lobster, add minced garlic to the clarified butter and heat through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the cooked filet mignon with the lobster tail on the side. Drizzle the garlic butter over the lobster and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
