Prepare Ingredients

1

Measure and prep

Gather all ingredients. Slice the ripe banana into rounds if not pre-sliced. If using fresh berries, wash and pat dry; if using frozen berries, have them measured in the freezer until ready to use.

2

If using spinach, rinse and pat dry, then loosely pack 1/2 cup.

Blend Smoothie

3

Add liquids and soft ingredients first

Pour 1 cup unsweetened almond milk into the blender, then add 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and 1 tsp fresh lemon juice. This helps the motor engage and creates a smooth blend.

4

Add fruits and ice

Add 1.5 cups frozen mixed berries, 1 cup sliced banana, and 4 ice cubes to the blender.

5

Add flavor and boosters

Add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and any optional boosters you choose: 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds, 1 scoop protein powder, and/or 1/2 cup fresh spinach.

6

Blend until smooth

Secure the lid and blend on medium-high for 45–90 seconds, stopping to scrape down the sides once if needed. Blend until texture is smooth and no large fruit pieces remain. If mixture is too thick, add up to 1/4 cup more almond milk and blend again for 10–15 seconds.

Serve

7

Pour the smoothie into two 12-16 oz glasses (or one large glass).

8

Garnish each serving with a couple of extra berries and 2 mint leaves on top.

9

Serve immediately with a straw. If you prepared the smoothie in advance, store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours; shake before drinking as separation may occur.
