Method

Smoothie Base

1

Place the frozen mixed berries and the peeled ripe banana into the blender jar.

2

Add the plain Greek yogurt to the fruit in the blender.

3

Pour in 3/4 cup (0.75 cups) unsweetened almond milk to start. Reserve any additional milk to adjust thickness later.

Sweetener & Flavor

4

Add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract to the blender for sweetness and depth of flavor.

Boosters (optional)

5

If using boosters, add 1 teaspoon ground flaxseed, 1 scoop protein powder, and/or a handful of fresh spinach at this time. These are optional but recommended for extra nutrition.

Ice & Blend

6

Blend until smooth

Add 1/2 cup ice cubes to the blender. Secure the lid and blend on high for 45–60 seconds, pausing to scrape down the sides once if needed, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

7

Adjust consistency

If the smoothie is too thick, add additional almond milk 1–2 tablespoons at a time and pulse to combine until you reach your desired consistency. If too thin, add a few more frozen berries or another 1/4 cup ice and blend briefly.

Serve & Garnish

8

Pour the smoothie into a tall glass. Garnish with a fresh berry or a sprig of mint if desired.

9

Serve immediately with a straw.
