Salad Ingredients

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lettuce

Wash the Bibb lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any damaged leaves and pat dry with a clean towel. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add the Cherry Tomatoes

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Add them to the bowl with the torn Bibb lettuce.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cucumber

Peel the cucumber if desired, then slice it into thin rounds or half-moons. Add the cucumber slices to the bowl.

  4. 4

    Slice the Avocado

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Cut the avocado into cubes and gently add it to the salad bowl.

  5. 5

    Add Red Onion

Finely chop the red onion and sprinkle it over the salad ingredients in the bowl.

  6. 6

    Incorporate Feta Cheese

Crumble the feta cheese over the top of the salad for added flavor and texture.

  7. 7

    Prepare the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to create the dressing.

  8. 8

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients in the bowl. Toss everything gently but thoroughly to ensure even coating of the dressing.

  9. 9

    Serve

Serve the Bibb salad immediately as a refreshing starter or side dish.
