Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Pork

Cut the pork belly into 1-inch cubes. Make sure to include some skin on each piece for the best chicharrones.

2

Season the Pork

In a bowl, toss the cubed pork with salt, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.

3

Heat the Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Pork

Carefully add the cubed pork to the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry them for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

5

Drain and Serve

Once cooked, remove the chicharrones from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Serve hot with fresh tortillas.
