Prepare the Pork
Cut the pork belly into 1-inch cubes. Make sure to include some skin on each piece for the best chicharrones.
Season the Pork
In a bowl, toss the cubed pork with salt, ensuring each piece is evenly coated.
Heat the Oil
In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
Fry the Pork
Carefully add the cubed pork to the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry them for about 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, remove the chicharrones from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Serve hot with fresh tortillas.
