Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a small bowl, mix turmeric, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken, making sure to get under the skin as well.
- 2
Roast the Chicken
Place the chicken in a roasting pan and roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Baste the chicken with its juices halfway through cooking.

Prepare the Carrot Puree
While the chicken is roasting, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add chopped carrots and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Add chicken broth and blend until smooth. Season with salt to taste.
