Method
Prepare Green Juice Base
Blend
Place the cucumber pieces, sliced ginger, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, and cold water into a blender. Add the ice. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds, until completely smooth and slightly frothy.
Assemble Cocktail
Combine with tequila
Pour about 2.5–3 oz of the strained (or unstrained) green juice into a cocktail shaker filled halfway with ice. Add 1.5 oz blanco tequila and 0.5 oz spicy tequila to the shaker.
Season
Add a small pinch of freshly cracked black pepper or smoked chile powder to the shaker to enhance the heat note. This complements the spicy tequila and ginger.
Shake
Shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the shaker is cold to the touch and the drink is well aerated.
Serve
Strain the cocktail into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice. If you used an unstrained base, pour as-is for a textured drink; if strained, serve for a smooth presentation.
Garnish & Finish
Taste and adjust: if you prefer sweeter, add 0.25 oz agave and gently stir. If more heat is desired, lightly dust a tiny pinch of chile powder on top. Serve immediately.
