1

Prepare glass

Fill a large wine glass generously with ice cubes (about 1 cup). Filling the glass well chills the drink and keeps proportions correct.

2

Add Aperol

Pour 3 oz Aperol over the ice. Pouring first helps the Aperol stay toward the bottom so the drink layers slightly before stirring.

3

Add Prosecco

Slowly pour 2 oz chilled Prosecco into the glass. Pouring gently preserves some of the bubbles and helps maintain a light effervescence.

4

Top with soda

Add 1 oz chilled soda water (club soda) to finish. Taste and, if desired, add a splash more soda for a lighter drink.

5

Stir gently

Use a bar spoon or long spoon to stir the drink gently 3–4 times to combine Aperol, Prosecco, and soda without flattening the bubbles.

6

Garnish and serve

Garnish with 1 orange slice placed on the rim or inside the glass. Serve immediately while chilled and bubbly.
