Cocktail

2 oz Seagram's 7 Crown blended whiskey (or preferred American blended whiskey)4 oz Iced tea (unsweetened black tea, chilled)1/2 oz Fresh lemon juice1/4 oz Simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water) or honey syrup2 dashes Angostura bitters1 to taste Ice1 piece Lemon wheel or wedge (garnish)1 sprig Fresh mint sprig (optional garnish)

Method

Cocktail

Chill glass

If desired, chill a highball or Collins glass by filling it with ice and cold water for 1–2 minutes, then discard the water and set the glass aside.

Build cocktail

Fill the chilled glass with fresh ice to the top. Add 2 oz Seagram's 7 (or preferred blended whiskey), 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup into the glass.

Add iced tea and bitters

Top the mixture with 4 oz chilled unsweetened iced tea. Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Stir

Gently stir the cocktail with a bar spoon for about 10–15 seconds to combine ingredients and slightly dilute with the ice.

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional sprig of fresh mint. Serve immediately with a straw if desired.
