Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail

Method

Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail

1

Prepare glass and muddle

Place 1/4 cup fresh blueberries into a cocktail shaker or mixing glass. Add the agave syrup and the fresh lemon juice. Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently muddle the blueberries until they break down and release juice and color but not so aggressively that the seeds are pulverized (about 8–10 firm presses).

2

Add spirits and ice

Add 1.5 oz Stoli Citros and 1 oz Stoli Blueberry to the muddled blueberry, lemon, and agave mixture. Fill the shaker with ice to chill (about 4–6 large cubes).

3

Shake

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 8–12 seconds until the exterior is cold and slightly frosted. This chills, dilutes, and integrates the blueberry-pomelo flavors.

4

Strain and top

Fill a Collins or highball glass with fresh ice (about 1 cup). Double-strain the shaken mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer over a regular cocktail strainer to remove blueberry solids and seeds. Top with 3 oz chilled Sprite (or lemon-lime soda). Gently stir once to combine.

5

Garnish and serve

Garnish with a lemon wheel on the rim and 3–4 fresh blueberries dropped into the drink or skewered on a pick. Serve immediately with a straw.
