Pudim Ingredients

Method

Pudim Preparation

1

Make the Caramel

In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Once dissolved, stop stirring and let it cook until it turns a golden brown color. Carefully pour the caramel into a round baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to cool and harden.

2

Prepare the Pudim Mixture

In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and well combined.

3

Combine and Bake

Pour the pudim mixture over the hardened caramel in the baking dish. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan filled with hot water (water bath). Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until the pudim is set and a knife inserted comes out clean.

4

Cool and Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. To serve, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a serving plate. Slice and enjoy your Cream Caramel!
