Meringue Preparation

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).

Beat Egg Whites

In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer on medium speed until frothy.

Add Cream of Tartar

Add the cream of tartar and continue to beat until soft peaks form.

Incorporate Sugar

Gradually add the granulated sugar, a tablespoon at a time, while beating on high speed until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.

Add Vanilla

Gently fold in the vanilla extract.

Shape Meringue

Spoon the meringue mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and shape it into a dome.

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meringue is dry and can be easily lifted off the parchment.

Vanilla Cream Preparation

Whip Cream

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Add Sugar and Vanilla

Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to whip until stiff peaks form.

Serve

Once the meringue is baked and cooled, serve it topped with the vanilla cream.
