Method
Preparation of Base
Mix Base Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Chill the Mixture
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours, or until completely chilled.
Flavoring and Churning
Flavor the Ice Cream
Divide the chilled base into separate bowls for each flavor. Add the desired flavoring ingredient to each bowl (cocoa powder for chocolate, coffee for café latte, mango puree for mango, etc.), and mix well.
Churn the Ice Cream
Pour each flavored mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions, typically around 20-25 minutes, until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freezing and Serving
Freeze the Ice Cream
Transfer the churned ice cream into airtight containers and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
Serve
Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy!
