Preparation
Prepare Chicken
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with the bread crumb mixture.
Cook Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Add Sauce and Cheese
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Cooking Spaghetti
Boil Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Serving
Plate the Dish
Serve the baked chicken parm over a bed of spaghetti. Drizzle with extra marinara sauce if desired.
