Tuna tartare is a crazy delicious dish made with fresh ahi tuna, an Asian marinade & chunks of avocado!
Using a sharp knife, dice the ahi tuna into small cubes and place in a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, grated ginger, chopped green onion, and chopped cilantro.
Pour the marinade over the diced tuna and mix gently until the tuna is well coated. Add sriracha, salt, and adjust to taste.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Dice the avocado into small chunks.
On a serving plate, layer the marinated tuna tartare and top with diced avocado. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and add wasabi if desired.
Serve immediately as an appetizer or a light meal.
