Method
Prepare Shrimp
Cook the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring enough salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes or until they turn pink and opaque. Drain and immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, drain and set aside.
Prepare Vegetables
Chop the Vegetables
Dice the avocado, mango, and cucumber into small, bite-sized pieces. Combine them in a mixing bowl and set aside.
Make Cocktail Sauce
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Combine and Serve
Mix Everything Together
In a large serving bowl, combine the cooked shrimp with the diced avocado, mango, and cucumber. Gently toss in the cocktail sauce until everything is well coated.
Serve
Spoon the shrimp mixture into serving bowls and serve with buttermilk crackers on the side.
