Directions
Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a heatproof bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt them together over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
Mix Sugar and Eggs
In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, large eggs, and large egg yolks until pale and fluffy.
Combine Mixtures
Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring gently to combine. Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Add Flour
Sift the all-purpose flour over the mixture and fold it in gently until just combined.
Pour Into Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-14 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
Serve
Let the cakes cool for 1 minute, then carefully invert onto plates. Serve warm with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
