Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Tuna

Place the Ahi tuna steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat the Pan

Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly grease with oil if needed.

Cook the Tuna

Remove the tuna from the marinade and sear in the hot pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side for rare, or longer if desired.
