Wine Ingredients
Method
Wine Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Grapes
Begin by washing the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Syrah grapes thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides. Once cleaned, crush the grapes in a large container to release their juices. Ensure to reserve some whole grapes for later use.

- 3
Add Yeast
Sprinkle the wine yeast evenly over the mixture of crushed grapes and sugar water. Stir gently to incorporate the yeast into the grape mixture.
- 4
Fermentation Process
Cover the container with a clean cloth or fermentation lid, allowing for airflow. Place the container in a dark, cool area (approximately 18-22°C) for fermentation. Allow the mixture to ferment for about 7-14 days, stirring daily.
- 5
Straining
Once fermentation is complete, use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain the liquid from the grape solids. Collect the strained liquid into a clean fermentation vessel, discarding the solid remains.
- 6
Aging the Wine
Seal the fermentation vessel with an airlock and store it in a cool, dark place for aging. Allow the wine to age for at least 3-6 months for optimal flavor development.
