Method

Cooking Pork Chops

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chopped fresh rosemary to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork Chops

Place the pork chops in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  4. 4

    Grill the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade. Grill the chops for 6-8 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  5. 5

    Rest the Pork Chops

Allow the grilled pork chops to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Preparing Sides

  1. 6

    Make Mashed Potatoes

Peel and chop potatoes. Boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with butter and milk to taste.

  2. 7

    Steam Broccoli

In a steamer basket over boiling water, steam the broccoli florets for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender.

Making the Salad

  1. 8

    Prepare the Salad

In a large salad bowl, combine mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumber.

  2. 9

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle your chosen salad dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Serving Croissants

  1. 10

    Warm the Croissants

If desired, warm the croissants in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes before serving.
