Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Add the sirloin steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Peppers

While the steak is marinating, wash and slice the bell peppers into strips.

3

Cook the Steak

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear it in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness.

4

Cook the Peppers

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

5

Combine and Serve

Return the steak to the skillet with the reserved marinade and bell peppers. If desired, mix cornstarch with a little water and add to the pan to thicken the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
