Baking Instructions

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a square baking pan (8x8 inches) with parchment paper.

2

Melt the Chocolate and Butter

In a heatproof bowl, combine the Belgian dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Melt them together over a double boiler or in the microwave until smooth, stirring occasionally.

3

Mix the Sugars and Eggs

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

4

Combine Mixtures

Slowly pour the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the sugar and egg mixture, stirring constantly until fully incorporated.

5

Add Dry Ingredients

Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined; be careful not to overmix.

6

Bake

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

7

Cool and Serve

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
