Preparation
Chill glass
If possible, place a wine or large rocks glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before making the drink to keep the spritz colder longer.
Lightly bruise the mint: take 4 of the mint leaves, hold them between your palms and gently clap (or press with the back of a spoon) to release their aroma. Do not shred—just bruise.
Build the Spritz
Fill the chilled glass with about 1 cup of ice, leaving room at the top for the liquids and garnish.
Pour 3 oz of the 0% Aperitivo over the ice. This provides the bitter-sweet herbal base typical of a spritz.
Add the bruised mint leaves into the glass, gently stir once or twice to integrate the mint into the Aperitivo without overworking the carbonation later.
Slowly pour 4 oz of peach cream soda into the glass down the side (to preserve bubbles). The cream soda contributes peach flavor and a creamy sweet note—adjust to taste if you prefer less sweetness.
If you want a lighter, fizzier finish, top with 1 oz club soda. Pour gently to avoid flattening the drink.
Garnish & Serve
Take the remaining 2 mint leaves, clap them between your palms to wake the oils, and slap them lightly on the rim of the glass or tuck them on top of the drink for aroma.
Garnish with 1 peach slice on the rim or floated on top. Stir very gently once to combine layers without losing fizz.
Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer. Recommend sipping slowly to enjoy the aromatic mint and the balance of bitter Aperitivo with sweet peach cream soda.
