Prepare glass
Choose a large wine glass or an Aperol-spritz style glass. Fill the glass generously with ice cubes to chill it.
Build base
Pour 2 tbs Campari into the glass over the ice.
Add cordial
Add 1 tbs strawberry cordial (or syrup) to the Campari. Stir gently once or twice with a bar spoon to combine the cordial and Campari.
Top with bubbles
Slowly pour in 4 oz chilled Prosecco, allowing it to mix without losing too much fizz.
Finish with soda
Add 2 oz chilled soda water to lighten and lengthen the drink. Give one gentle stir to integrate the soda without flattening the bubbles.
Garnish and serve
Garnish with a halved fresh strawberry on the rim and/or an orange slice. Serve immediately with a straw or stirrer.
Optional adjustments
For a slightly sweeter drink, add an extra 1/2 tbs strawberry cordial. For a drier, more bitter spritz, reduce the cordial to 1/2 tbs or increase Campari by 1/2 tbs.
