Vegetables & Seasoning

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Seafood

Cut the fresh white fish into small, bite-sized cubes and place in a mixing bowl.

2

Add Shrimp and Calamari

Add the raw shrimp and calamari rings to the mixing bowl with the fish.

Marinating

3

Make the Marinade

In a separate bowl, mix the lime juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Pour this citrus marinade over the seafood mixture.

4

Marinate

Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes, allowing the seafood to cure in the citrus juices.

Adding Vegetables and Serving

5

Prepare Vegetables

While the seafood is marinating, finely chop the red onion, dice the tomato, and chop the cilantro. If using, finely chop the jalapeño.

6

Combine everything

After the marinating time, remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Add the prepared vegetables (red onion, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeño) to the cured seafood. Season with salt and black pepper.

7

Serve

Gently toss all the ingredients to combine. Serve the mixed ceviche in small bowls or cups, chilled.
